Bandon Preserve,

Bandon Oregon

What can I say? This 13 hole par 3 links style course definitely did not let me down. After walking two treacherous rounds of golf my father decided he wanted to rest and get ready for the drive home, but I couldn’t get enough of this place. I made a tee time for 7:15am at the Preserve for the morning of our departure day. I was planning on enjoying Bandon's amazing landscape alone, but I was so pleasantly surprised to be accompanied by my beautiful wife (She’s not a morning person). She caddied for me as we played this fun yet completely manicured par 3 course with hard rolling greens. I hadn’t seen any sun since the day we arrived at the resort, but when we showed up for our tee time the sky was blue and the course was glowing. These tight greens surrounded by bunkers made this course difficult yet so exciting and fun to play. When going to Bandon with family and friends please get a group together and throw some wedge shots onto these greens. There’s nothing more exciting than playing some high stakes KP or just finding ball marks inches from the cup. The preserve is a small Bandon masterpiece.
